Important Race Updates

  • July 31: Affected Categories: All - Sport Change: Start TImes Set: Racers Depart ThorpeWood in Catagory/Class Order

    Race times for all cats and classes are set. Racers will obtain their chip then immediately depart ThorpeWood in waves of approximately 40.

    Schedule of sports and expert sessions for men and women, including age groups and times, with categories for open, expert, and sport levels.

  • July 23: Affected Categories: Expert and Sport - Taping of Boundary's Final Rock Garden

    The Expert and Sport Categories end with the Rock Garden on Boundary, now the new flow section.

    Additionally, the worn-in entrance will be taped off. The entrance for the race for both categories is to the right of the first big tree, which will then cause racers to choose between a left line and right line. See picture of the entrance here, and the video in the section below.

  • July 18: Two Food Trucks added: Spice Nation and BDubs

    Gravel and Grind for the early morning coffee; BDubs and Spice Nation for post race calories; and Sobar for the drinks.

  • July 13: Affected Categories: All - Black Ox Finishing Area

    At the end of each race course, we will have the Black Ox Finishing ZOnes for crazy-ass action.

  • July 6: Affected Categories: Pro/Open & Expert - Course Map Adjustment

    If your Strava says Detroit Drop City, you missed the right hand turn just before pictured drop.

  • July 6: Affected Categories: Pro/Open - Noteworthy taping of Kublai's Whaleback slab

    The Kublai Khan entrance to the Whaleback slab will be taped off. Racers will veer right prior to its freeride entrance, then cross-over its off-camber middle. See video below.
